CentOS gets early mention over free operating systems that can be used for daily use system as well as a server. Based on RHEL base, CentOS is know for bing stable and manageable platform. Just recently, the developers have shipped th sixth CentOS-7 release.
It makes CentOS 7 1804 the most current release, which based on Red Hat Enterprise 7.5 released on April 4th, 2018.
This release comes with tons of changes to cryptographic abilities of different packages. As a result, many outdated and insecure algorithms and protocols are deprecated.

About CentOS 1804 changes and fixes : 
The CentOS Linux distribution for sixth CentOS-7 release is a stable, predictable, manageable and reproducible platform derived from the sources of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). 

Deprecated Features:
This release - as already mentioned - features various changes to cryptographic abilities of various packages. Some insecure cryptographic algorithms and protocols are removed from the distro.

Sendmail has been deprecated
Sendmail has been deprecated in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. Customers are advised to use Postfix, which is configured as the default Mail Transfer Agent (MTA).

tcp_wrappers deprecated
The tcp_wrappers package has been deprecated. tcp_wrappers provides a library and a small daemon program that can monitor and filter incoming requests for auditcyrus-imapdovecotnfs-utilsopensshopenldapproftpdsendmailstunnelsyslog-ngvsftpd, and various other network services.

Several rsyslog options deprecated
The rsyslog utility version in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 has deprecated a large number of options. These options no longer have any effect and cause a warning to be displayed.
The functionality previously provided by the options -c, -u, -q, -x, -A, -Q, -4, and -6 can be achieved using the rsyslog configuration.
There is no replacement for the functionality previously provided by the options -l and -s

Containers using the libvirt-lxc tooling have been deprecated

The following libvirt-lxc packages are deprecated since Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1:
libvirt-daemon-driver-lxc
libvirt-daemon-lxc
libvirt-login-shell

Future development on the Linux containers framework is now based on the docker command-line interface. libvirt-lxc tooling may be removed in a future release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7) and should not be relied upon for developing custom container management applications.

To update your current CentOS 7.4 1708 machine to newly CentOS 7.5 1804, you need to run the following command: 
# yum clean all

# yum upgrade

# systemctl reboot


To check the current version of your CentOS machine, use this command
# cat /etc/redhat-release


After upgrading server, Check again for CentOS version,
# cat /etc/redhat-release

But If you want to just use the features of CentOS 7.5 without installing it then you can use the Live media images. Just boot from Live image and you are ready to use CentOS 7.5. Both KDE and Gnome desktop environment are available with this new release.
Attention : 

At least 1280 MB RAM is required to install and use CentOS-7 (1804). When using the Live ISOs for install, 1280 MB RAM produces very slow results and even some install failures. At least 1536 MB RAM is recommended for LiveGNOME or LiveKDE installs.
